Mason’s is a privately owned and independent property valuation company. The business is managed by qualified professional valuers and we specialise in the valuation of residential property across metropolitan Melbourne.
At Mason’s, we feel we have one of the best and rewarding jobs. Our positive outlook filters right through our company and the quality of work that we produce.
Unfortunately few people outside of real estate industry are aware of the role of the property valuer, that is of course until they need us.
Many of our customers are pleasantly surprised upon meeting us that we are not conservative looking, middle aged gents, with grey combed over hair, carrying a clip board and having a distinct lack of humour.
On the contrary our valuers are experienced property professionals, with a wealth of expertise, specialist local knowledge and an understanding of what drives property value. Mason’s are able to provide sensible and credible property valuation reports and advice to our customers.
Not all valuers are created equal
Not all valuers are created equal of course, at Mason’s our valuers are all tertiary educated, all have completed their two years practical on the job training and have sat before a panel of their peers to complete an oral examination in order to be deemed qualified to practice and prepare property valuations.
Mason’s is not just some faceless company, turning out valuation reports like a sausage machine. Our company was established on the basis that, most individual home owners were not being provided with the required professionalism and personalised level of service from some of the larger national valuation companies, who primarily work for the banks.
Our company is truly impartial and independent, our valuers and the valuations we provide are not tied to any real estate groups nor are we beholden to the banks. Therefore we can give honest, impartial and independent advice.
